A dog park with a bit of a twist! The Secret Garden is a natural environment with a variety of trees and wildflowers, fallen tree trunks, and old stone walls, along with a large grassy area, bordered by an old farm building which provides additional shelter.

We’ve tried to keep it as close as possible to ‘a walk in the woods’ – not all the grass is mowed short, not all the leaf litter, undergrowth, and fallen wood is cleared so there is plenty for dogs to sniff, climb, balance on and explore (with your supervision of course). This does mean that some areas will be uneven underfoot and so care must be taken and please ensure that you wear suitable footwear.

There’s a small shelter for extreme weather and a number of seating areas so you can relax and listen to the birds while your dogs play. Play equipment includes jumps, tyres a tunnel and a sandpit but you may find your dog (especially the working breeds), prefer climbing on tree trunks and sniffing through the undergrowth!
